society has instituted following
Awards and Honours which are presented
at Annual Conference of the Society
Young Scientist Award:
Smt. Kamala Madan Memorial Award
(only for women) and Dr.P.K. Dwarikanath
Memorial Award are presented to
the young scientists upto the age
of 35 years. Applicant should submit
the application with (i) the abstract
and full length paper, (ii) age
proof and (iii) authentication certificate
from the concerned authority on
conducting the relevant research
in the institute.
The Nirmalan Memorial Award:
This award will be by nomination
rather than by competition. President
and Secretary in consultation with
the excecutive body select an eminent
Physiologist to present the Nirmalan
oration during every SAPI conference.
Dr. A. Roy Memorial Award:
Senior
members having 20 years experience
on the basis of outstanding contribution
to Animal Physiology are honored
with this award. The awardee is
presented a medal and a certificate.

Prof. M. N. Razdan Memorial Mid
carrier Award:
SAPI
Life members having 15 years experience
in teaching / research to Animal
Physiology are honored of their
profession with this award as the
best mid carrier teachers / researchers
/ scientists. Detail of scoring
format is given in the application
form in Form & Format Section
of website. Candidates are requested
to apply and provide necessary documents
according to the format.
Dr. D.N. Mullick Award:
It
is open to life members of the society
having 10 years research experience.
The award is based on scientific
contributions to animal Physiology.
The awarder is presented a medal
and a certificate. Detail of scoring
format is given in the application
form in Form & Format Section
of website. Candidates are requested
to apply and provide necessary documents
according to the format.

Fellow
Fellow
will be selected from the nominated
candidates. Every nominee shall
be proposed and recommended by a
certificate in writing signed by
one Life member of SAPI and shall
certify from personal knowledge
of the scientific attainments of

Dr. J. N. Pande Memorial Award:
This
award is for best poster presentation
at Annual Conference. The local
organizing committees have the option
to give more than one award based
on the number of contestants.
The JP Mittal Best MVSc Thesis
Award:
SAPI
Life Members who have completed
Masters' Degree in Veterinary /
Animal Physiology and certificate
/ Provisional Degree Certificate
has been obtained during the year
or, preceding the year of award
[e.g. If a candidate is applying
for the award in 2019, he /she must
have had his / her degree completion
certificate either 2019 or, in 2018].

S C Sud Memorial Best Doctoral
Thesis Award:
This
award is given to a SAPI member
having PhD degree with the work
in the area of the subject of Veterinary
Physiology.
(1) SAPI Life Members who have completed
Doctoral Degree in Veterinary /
Animal Physiology and certificate
/ Provisional Degree Certificate
has been obtained at anytime during
the last 2 years [e.g. If a candidate
is applying for the award in 2019,
he / s h e must have had his / her
degree completion certificate in
2019 / 2018 / 2017].
(2) Must have published / accepted
at least one research article (from
the Ph.D thesis work) in a journal
having NAAS rating of 6.00 or above
